WHO WE ARE / COVERAGE

NYCU started work in Institutions of higher learning before opening to the wider society upon registration in October 2007 starting with Kampala the National capital. Today the network has spread to lower institutions of learning, community youths and children’s clubs /Associations, opening up branches in communities and institutions of learning in Kampala, Wakiso, and Isingiro districts and soon we shall be opening in Sironko, Mbale, Tororo, Soroti, Iganga and Lira districts.

OUR MISSION

Have a society with positive attitudes towards the Empowerment and participation of the Youths and Children through enhancing their rights as future citizens, and involve them in the Democratization process of knowledge and awareness on what roles they should play, in order to achieve their potential goals.

OUR OBJECTIVES

1. Engaging Youths and Children in the fight against community epidemics like HIV/AIDS, Malaria, TB and others.
2. Empowering Youths with Entrepreneurship and Leadership skills.
3. Involving Youths and Children in Environmental protection and sustainability
4. Promoting Information Communication Technology (ICTs) in institutions and Rural-Urban communities.
5. Advocating for Youths and Children’s rights, Democracy and good Governance.
6. Promoting cultural exchange through Sports, Music dance and Drama amongst Youth and Children Networks across the country.
7. Protecting and giving Hope to Vulnerable Children and Orphans.
