
OUR MODEL
Network for Youths and Children Uganda (NYCU) is a Youths and Children initiative registered none Governmental Organization that brings Youths and Children in One network and builds their capacities for self and community transformation.
NYC’s mission is to have a society with positive attitude towards the empowerment and participation of Youths and children through enhancing their rights as future citizens and involve them in own and society transformation. This is done through initiating and running youths and children initiated and owned programs, enhancing self esteem activities like sports, dance and drama, skill training and advocacy.
THE TEAM
The Network for youth and Children Uganda benefits from the work of a diverse, motivated, and highly accomplished group of professionals. Each brings exceptional talents coupled with a passion to help some of the world’s most vulnerable children and youths. Many have overseas experience, and all are well versed in international issues affecting children. Our staff is composed of Executive director, General Secretary, Director for programs, Director for research and coordination and Director Membership and organizational development, Volunteers, working together to carry out NYCU’s mission.
The NYCU’s Board of Directors includes members from a variety of professions—Finance, Doctors, Social workers and consultants, Educationists (Teachers)—and brings collective wisdom and experience drawn from many quarters. The Board has provided strategic development, Financial oversight, energy, and aspiration. We honor their contributions as an integral part of what NYCU is able to accomplish.

OUR BRANCHES
In a bid to spread the network, NYCU has opened up five branches in five universities, three community based branches of Nkumba, Nyabihoko students Association and the Kibuli NYCU association, ten in high schools and 20 in primary schools.

The Network also has affiliate the following associations and Organizations:-
AIESEC, KIBO Foundation, United Nations Association of Uganda Islamic University, Kyambogo, Nkumba. Makerere, Kampala University, Kampala International University, the East African Community Youths Origination in Tanzania, Nkoba Zambogo Students’ Association Islamic University, Makerere, and Nkumba chapters
